Singapore Visas

Foreigners travelling to Singapore as tourists will be given a 30 day social visit pass upon their arrival in Singapore.

Singapore is a great place to have a stopover between flights. If you are in transit for less than 24 hours and hold valid ongoing travel documents you may leave the airport. Also, you will not be charged the passenger service charge of SGD 21 upon departure from Singapore.

All visitors to Singapore must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Valid travel document (minimum validity = 6 months)
  • Onward/return ticket
  • Entry facilities to the next destination
  • Sufficient funds to stay in Singapore
  • Visa for Singapore (if applicable)

The following countries will require either a Business Visa or Social Visit Visa to enter Singapore:

  • India
  • Myanmar
  • Nigeria
  • Peoples Republic of China
  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Georgia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Moldova
  • Russia
  • Tajikistan
  • Turkmenistan

  • Uzbekistan
  • Hong Kong Document of Identity
  • Macao Special Administrative Region Travel Permit
